Flute

The flute is a musical instrument of the woodwind family. Flutes are heard in the orchestra, band, chamber groups, and as a solo instrument. Children can start flute as young as 3 years old by using smaller modified instruments, or a standard flutes with a curved headjoint. The child's readiness for music lessons is to be determined in consultation with the private teacher.
