Viola

The viola is a bowed string instrument, slightly larger than the violin, and the middle voice of the strings section. SuzukiMusic has a collection of small violas by Bernard Sabatier for children to begin viola study as young as 3 years old. This collection was generously supported by the Trillium Foundation, the Lloyd Carr-Harris Foundation, and the Community Foundation of Ottawa. The child's readiness for music lessons is to be determined in consultation with the private teacher.
